A LITTLE OF ME

Hello fellow bloggers and blog readers, welcome to my world of fashion... By the way, my name is Patsy but professionally Lush... so let me just cut right to the chase, I have always loved all things fashion related and by always I do mean always, like since baby always. I once broke a whole shelf of my mother's stuff just to get to an oversized pair of white heeled sandals at the age of nothing above five and my aunt says I pulled at anyone's hair I thought was pretty. Violent baby huh? I am much more subtle now no worries. So presently I am very much a hair stylist and makeup artist and looking forward to going into other things.

So you know that even though I am a shopaholic, I still love cost effective stuff. So for these products, I got the cheaper one awhile before I got the high end brand and you can imagine my horror when I realized that I already had the same exact colour!

Review: Ben Nye Glitter glue

So I purchased this awhile ago after I saw thatigbochick use it in one of her videos. I already had the e.l.f glitter primer but since I am an impulsive shopaholic, I bought it anyway. Teehee.

This is a marvelous product because it dries quickly and really causes glitter to adhere to skin nicely. I say skin because it is not only for the lid but for the body as well. It’s clear and has a very runny consistency like water.

It comes in a clear bottle which is plastic and has a screw-on cap with a brush attached to it. You get about ml of product for a relatively cheap price. It would take me a long time before it finishes.

However, what I noticed on this bottle was that it said "not to be used around the eye area", and I wondered why. Alcohol is a main ingredient here and I found this out the hard way. When I mistakenly placed a little too much of this product on my lid and it got into my eye, it hurt badly. I kid you not when I say, I thought I was gonna go blind.

But as a strong woman, I figured out a way to use it without losing my sight! The trick is to

Hello beautiful!

So…my name is Sike and I am obsessed with makeup and beauty in general. I think it’s a healthy kind of obsession because…uhm, I have no defense. Lol.

Thing is, I do this for one reason alone; to make people feel beautiful. Makeup is not a mask for me, I am as comfortable in my skin as I am with makeup on and I want every woman (or man) to realize that; it is an art of enhancement. Of course we have editorial makeup and SFX (special effects) makeup but they are all placed on one foundation: your skin. No makeup artist can create a look on you without your skin as a canvas. Truthfully, if you don’t love your skin, you can never truly feel beautiful no matter how much makeup you pack on.

For the longest time, I didn’t feel beautiful.
