One of my beauty resolutions this year was to buy more Nigerian made products and this is my first skincare Haul from the Nigerian🇳🇬 owned and made brand: Ajali Handmade Naturals 💃💃💃

Haul: Hair goodies from the Kinky Apothecary

The name of the online store itself is so rad! The kinky apothecary 👌 This is the first online natural hair store I discovered when I started my natural hair journey.

Anyways, very recently, I decided that I need to take care of my hair, like really take care of it. Of course I deep condition, Co wash and all the other natural hair kinky 101 things one is meant to do but I don't care for my hair on a daily basis, this includes my scalp.

I am so sorry for the recent silence; school has been crazy for me. I have a lot of posts to write so please bear with me.

In the meantime, I have exciting news. So some online stores in Nigeria have started doing monthly subscription plans were you get sample products and some full size goodies for a great discount price. This is my first time trying the accessoriesng glam bag so I wanted to share the goodies I got.

Laura Geller baked liquid radiance foundation in golden medium(sample size)

L. A Girl Pro powder in translucent

No brand powder brush

I literally just got these products so I haven’t had time to try them out fully but I am excited about the smashbox lip-gloss (I am going through a lip-gloss phase right now) and the powder brush feels soft. Unfortunately the foundation is not my shade so it is just going to go into my kit. I will be posting a full review of each of these items as soon as I can. However I love the note that comes in the bag

THE HAUL...

Okay it's a very small haul and of course its greatly overdue so here goes... oh I hope y'all missed me too???, I missed you so much I forgot to say hi...

Errm... except if I am home I hardly do purchase makeup by myself, I mean Sike still lives and breathes so therefore why stress myself right?. The girl loves to shop online, I on the other hand love to shop in stores, I dearly hope I am not the only survivor of this rare specie of humans in our generation. So anyhow, I got a couple of things which includes;

The LA girl gel liner in very black
The Duo eyelash adhesive
The BH cosmetics 10 colour camouflage concealer palette and
The LA girl glazed lip paint in coy.

It would interest you to know that before this purchase I had never used gel liner before.
I mean everyone around me did but I was so comfortable with my liquid liner I just never tried... until now. Also I badly needed a new concealer palette. The one I had previously was just bleh cause it didn't fit will with WOC (women of colour) and guess what I look like and what country I reside in?, so yea that had to go...

Haul: Lime Crime Velvetines!!!

This post is long overdue…like a couple of months old (forgive me).

There is a story behind my purchase of these lipsticks. I had this next door neighbor last school year, Pelumi, who is obsessed with makeup and fashion. So she came to my room one evening to collect some makeup tutorials from my laptop and I decided to scan through her laptop as well. I saw a lipstick tutorial that looked very intriguing and I decided to watch it (can’t remember the Youtuber sadly). It was a lip swatch of a matte red liquid lipstick. Before that, the holy grail red lippie to me was MAC Ruby Woo but when I saw this lipstick I got confused. What was this liquid magic? And I saw the name at the end; LimeCrime Velvetine in Red Velvet. As a shopaholic, I had never seen any Nigerian online store carry this brand so I didn’t even have hope of finding it anytime soon.
