Hello beautiful!

So someone felt like I should be a little more personal on the blog. Instead of makeup posts all the time, sometimes let us know you Sike. Ok boo, I gatchu!

1. I am from Taraba state, Nigeria. If you are Nigerian and you are wondering where that is, you should be ashamed of yourself. People always ask “where is that?” “People live there?” “Wait, you have lived there all your life and you speak english this good?” I just want to slap them with my big Bobbi Brown fan brush! Stop being so ignorant!
2. My ideal Friday night is sitting down in my room watching Food Network, Crime Investigation or YouTube videos trying to figure out what I’ll wear on Sunday. I don’t understand the concept of going out clubbing and getting wasted. No one would even notice the outfit you painstakingly selected in the dim-lit stuffy club. Just saying.
3. I am hydrophobic. Because of an instance where my “bestfriend” tricked me to going to the 6 feet section of the pool and left me there to die, I now hate large bodies of water. Ponds, lakes, rivers, oceans, pools, showers, everything. I don’t even like being on a bridge for fear that I will drop into the water below.
4. The first thing I ever cooked was jollof rice when I was about 5 or 6. Everyone in our compound tasted that rice from the small tin tomato container in which it was cooked. Everything my mum did in the big pot of rice, I did in my tin. That rice was very nice btw.
5. I sing. Yes, I’m in the choir and everything. It’s not like my voice can give you goose bumps but it is not bad at all.
6. I LOVE pancakes. I believe that you can make anything or put anything into a pancake and get away with it. Fruits, meats, left over veges could be fillings, I have seen plantain pancakes, akara pancakes and even moin moin pancakes. Pancakes are just glorious.
7. My taste in music is very eclectic. I have so many genres that I listen to. Of course there is afro-pop, gospel and rap (Eminem is bae). I also listen to country, R&B, rock, classical, pop and I am sure I can listen to skrillex.
8. I have a thing for nails. Fingernails and toenails. I just love when a girl or guy has perfectly groomed nails. That’s why I hate seeing chewed up nails or all those people that have scattered toenails  due to years of playing football wearing slippers or bare feet.
9. I read novels, a lot. I can’t count how many novels I have read in my lifetime. I am sure they gave me library prefect in primary school because I was always borrowing the Ladybird novels; I knew that library too well. I bet I read all the Ladybird books. Now I read everything from John Grisham to Danielle Steele and back to Francine Rivers and Ted Dekker.
10. I will pick sandals or converse over heels any day! All those boys that say “I love a girl on heels” and “there is just something so sexy about heels” Please sharrap and gerrahere. Unless you yourself wear heels, I won’t wear! Let’s just both just wear Timbalands and be happy.
