Review: Bh Cosmetics Wild and Radiant Palette

My flatlay deserves some accolades right?

Every makeup lover and their sister is obsessed with the glow. No one wants to be out here looking bland and dry. We all wanna look like glazed donuts or freshly fried puff puff (as Vanessa of StyleByOhaha puts it lol) and I am here with a product that will help you achieve that.

I have had this highlighter palette for well over two years now. Sometimes I abandon it for months but whenever I reach for it again, I am shook. Let's talk about the product in detail.

Look at those gorgeous shades

Packaging: the highlighters come in a sturdy cardboard case that has a safari inspired print. It looks like a cheetah print to me and I believe it's just to depict the "Wild" theme. The packaging also has some pink trimmings and a flower in front which I love. The highlighters come in sizable pans and there is also a mirror in the palette which I appreciate.

Product itself: the palette is labeled as a baked illuminating and bronzing palette. It has 4 shades of highlighters: a yellow gold shade, a rose gold shade, a bronze shade and a deeper bronze shade. The highlighters are a baked formula which means it can be used wet or dry. The colour pay off is good when dry but it's Tha BOMB when used wet. The highlighters have some chunks of glitter in them which I personally don't mind. The colours apply okay, not too smooth. The blinding power can definitely be built up so you can keep layering from an everyday natural glow to a highlight that can be seen from Mars.

Swatches

What I love: this palette retails for N5,000-N10,000 on most Nigerian online stores. I got it off the BH cosmetics site for less than $15 (they had a sale going on I think, and they always offer great discounts). I love the packaging and the colour pay off. I also love the versatile shades that allow you to mix and match to find a custom shade (I do this often). Also you get a great product for the price.

Favorite brush for highlighting the face

What I don't love: I wish the shades had names. This is a personal preference for me but this palette is an old release, long before highlighters had individual names so I can't fault the brand for that.

Where to buy: Jumia, Konga, Duniquebeauty, other online makeup retailers

Are you a natural glow or blinding highlight girl? What's your favorite highlighter? Let me know in the comment section below.

Yes I used the Wild and Radiant palette on my muse Abigail. Isn't it stunning?

See you in my next post. Xoxo.

Then God looked over all He had made, and it was excellent in every way. This ended the sixth day.

  3. Love the shades in this pallette... But I think the pattern on the package is a giraffe-inspired motif
