Common Law and Grace
First of all, Merry Christmas guys!
I am always so excited during this season because my mum allows me to serve people my culinary 'experiments' as part of Christmas lunch.
However, what I am most excited about is the vibes in the air. So much love being shared among people of all religions and backgrounds just to celebrate God's son's birth (yes, it's not about Santa).

How I am growing my edges
Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a swell weekend? I have so much school work :'( This final year is not small work o! God is seeing me through anyways.
So today I will be sharing how I grew my edges. I honestly didn't know my edges were that bad before until i did a picture comparison. Personally, I don't remember ever having full thick edges. This is mostly because I always made braids, twists and other hairstyles that tugged on and weakened my edges. Even after I went natural,I did not pay any particular attention to the state of my edges until the middle of this year.
How did I grow my edges though?

My skincare routine
Hey there,
Remember the #AbuadBeautyClass I spoke about some posts ago? It turned out awesome!!!
So Beauty and I discussed skincare and its importance during the class and I have decided to share my complete routine on the blog. This post is beneficial to everyone with skin; that includes you boys😊
Quick disclaimer: some people are born with great flawless skin, some are not, and I belong to the latter group.

Nigerian Brand Review: HushBeautyNg’s Intense Eyeshadow palette in 35A
Hey everyone! I hope everyone has been doing well?

Review: Sleek Candy Collecton Eyeshadow palette
Well hello there. I hope you have been well?
Today, I am gonna review an amazing palette in my collection.
When I bought this eyeshadow palette, I only had my eyes on one colour (Pear
drop) and when I created the look I had in mind, I just kind of abandoned it. Recently,
I fell in love with the entire palette again because it has amazing
pigmentation and the diverse colours contained therein.
Happy birthday NKASIKE 🌟😍❤❤💘💪
Nkasike Ghana Istifanus... about 2 months ago made it 10 years since I met her. I still remember sitting in my mum’s car seeing her walk to the administrative block in our secondary school. After that it became memory after memory.
I remember her in J1 and J2. I remember her always staying on my bed and me gisting her about all that was up in my lil pre-teen life. I remember her accusing me of saying blah blah blah and cutting out much of the gist I was meant to be dropping. Lol...

complete this milestone in my life and I know that it’s all been God.
Anyways, I wanted to give you guys a short life
update as I count down to clock the big Two-Zero. Yes, I am gonna be 20. I
cannot believe that this age is already upon me, seems like yesterday I was
excited to be 16, then 18 and now, its 20. I have been learning so much about
myself lately and I just want to share a few with you.
Review: Sleek Studio Flash 'a' Pout in Naivety, Revolution, Siren and Forbidden
Hey!
How are you doing? Hope your summer holidays were awesome? Mine was been…eventful in a good way.
Hair Update...
Hey lovers... so I hope you read my last post on hair goals here.
So this is my first update.
To cut a long story short my Summer has not in a lot of ways, gone as I had it planned. So far I have no regrets. But one of the outcomes of this is the fact that my hair plans got jacked up too. For someone who is very dependent on routines it just threw me off completely. Anywho due to lack of planning I ended up carrying my braids longer than needed. Actually that’s not completely true. The braids were actually really nice. I was in love with them so I partly didn’t want to take them off.

#FoodAdventure Barkono Grill
Hello guys! So summer for me has officially started because I have started splurging on food. Lol. So this restaurant wasn’t even on my list of places to visit first but it happened and it was such an amazing experience. So I am going to try and discuss this restaurant under several headings to keep it short. These are; location, ambience, staff and of course the FOOD!
#FoodAdventure Mico's House of Chicken and Waffles
Hey guys! Hope your summer is off to a great start? So I am going to have some of my friends guest blog on the restuarants we visit together, just to add to the fun. The first is my gorgeous Yoruba goddess, Dami. Below is her review on Mico's.
Hello fellow foodies! I’m Damilola Olukeye and like I said, I'm a foodie!!! I love art. I believe art can take very many forms and God has given people many gifts with which to express themselves. Music, Painting, Sculpture, Drama, Dance, Architecture, Drawing, Fashion Design and so many others are ways through which people can express themselves. Part of my profound respect for art in all forms is food

NMM REVIEW; Island Beauty Lipsticks
*comes out of ghost mode* hello you... how are you? Been a lil more than 2 days yes? I humbly apologise. Life to a hold of me for a while now but I'm back and yes I have missed you too.
So how can u better start of if not with a product review... of a classic? Yes a classic makeup item. Remember how I said I was gonna be doing posts about Nigerian Market Makeup (NMM)? This is a review of one of the veterans of these; The beauty Island lipsticks. Trust me you know them, maybe you just don't know the name. If you haven't used any your mother and grandma probably have i tell you. Remember how I said one of the features of NMM is that they a majorly 'limited edition' and dissappear almost as fast as they appear? But these ones ehn... they have stayed and they are not about to go anywhere trust me.
Food Adventures #Summer2016
Unknown to A lot of people is the fact that I am a foodie. I don’t just like food, I love food! And I mean that in an aesthetic way. I love when food looks elegant, polished, inviting, it’s a sensual thing lol. If you ever meet me personally and we talk about food and I start raving about textures and flavours and fusions, pardon me, I am just enthusiastic about good food. Not plain jollof rice or swallow or even fried plantain, I am talking about good food that is created to give you an experience.
So that’s why I am embarking on a food adventure this summer, I have a few restaurants in Abuja I am eager to try out and probably review. I am uber excited about it. I wonder if anyone else wants to join me or even embark on their own food adventures wherever they are. Below are a few places off my list that I hope to visit
Haul: Hair goodies from the Kinky Apothecary
The name of the online store itself is so rad! The kinky apothecary 👌 This is the first online natural hair store I discovered when I started my natural hair journey.
Anyways, very recently, I decided that I need to take care of my hair, like really take care of it. Of course I deep condition, Co wash and all the other natural hair kinky 101 things one is meant to do but I don't care for my hair on a daily basis, this includes my scalp.
MOTD: Nude Cut Crease and Dark lips
Absolutely obsessed with this look I created to church a short while ago. I realized I was late for church and had to rush through the other eye (lol, lets ignore it). Below will be a list of the products used, please let me know in the comment section if I should film a tutorial for this look.
Going nude…
Well hello there, I know the name of this post has intrigued you, hehe. Anyways, as you guessed it, I am on a full blown nude frenzy. That’s with lipsticks anyways, as in nude lipsticks; get your mind outta that gutter.
So lately, I can’t even purchase a lipstick that is not somehow nude, everyone has noticed, it is a current obsession. I then decided to share my nude collection with you in parts. It’s going to consist of lip swatches, comparisons and just good ole hand swatches.
Client transformation: Jemimah
I had the privilege of beating this beauty’s face for a dinner a short while ago and she loved every bit of her glam. She said specifically said she wanted light brows and gold glitter on her lids. Below is a list of the products used in her transformation. Thanks for choosing blushesndbrushes Jemimah. Be sure to check my Instagram @psychee_themua for a short video of the transformation process as well.

Meet the stunning Toni Esu and her beautiful curly TWA
I am going to be doing a series on natural haired women who inspire me and this lady is the first on my list.
The beautiful ones have been born. I mean, you just have to see people like Toni Esu to know. I have been stalking her YouTube videos for almost a year and always loved her so when I saw that her hair was natural as well, I became obsessed. Anyways I got talking to her and got her to answer a few questions. Below is the interview;
